The Story Behind Linda's Love Work & Lactating Buddha
At Linda's Love Work, the name comes from a special piece of advice my mom gave me: "A hobby you enjoy, one that fills your heart and feeds your soul, is your Love Work." After having my daughter, I realized I needed something just for me—a creative outlet that brought joy and fulfillment. That's when Linda's Love Work was born. Each piece is crafted with the love and passion that I pour into everything I do, making it more than just a business—it’s my heart’s work.
My journey began when I started making malas while trying to incorporate meditation into the chaos of new motherhood. As I navigated the demands of nursing my daughter and trying to find my "zen" I created an Instagram account called Lactating Buddha to share my journey. To my surprise, custom requests for malas started coming in, followed by requests for other types of jewelry. What started as a personal practice soon blossomed into a small business, allowing me to share my mindful creations with others who were seeking their own peace and balance.
I just wrapped up my first year of selling my work at craft markets and festivals, and while I was terrified at first, it turned out to be one of the most rewarding experiences. The only thing I loved more than creating jewelry was meeting the incredible people face-to-face who connected with my work. Their excitement and appreciation made every moment worth it, and it was truly special to share my creations with others in such a personal way.
Thank you so much for stopping by my corner of the internet and taking the time to read about my journey. Your support means the world to me, and I'm so grateful to share my creations with you. I hope you find something that speaks to your heart!
